2 How we use it
- To deliver the services you buy: resumes, eligibility screening, job matching, interview practice, consultations and relocation guidance.
- To process payments, issue invoices, handle refunds and meet tax and accounting obligations.
- To contact you about your order and respond to your requests.
- To keep the website secure and prevent fraud.
- To send updates or offers, only if you have opted in. You can opt out at any time.
We process your data on the basis of your consent, given when you place an order or submit a form, and for legitimate uses the law allows, such as meeting legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time; this stops future processing but may mean we cannot complete a service.
3 AI processing
We use artificial intelligence tools, some run by third-party providers, to draft documents and match your profile to openings. Your career profile may be sent to these providers only to produce your deliverables. We choose providers that do not use customer data to train their models, and we do not use your data for automated decisions that have legal effects on you.
4 Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed with:
- Payment gateways and banks, to process payments and refunds.
- Hosting, email, messaging, scheduling and video-call providers that run our service.
- AI service providers, as described above.
- Licensed immigration professionals, when a part of your service must be handled by one.
- Employers, airlines, hotels and similar parties, only when you ask us to act for you.
- Government authorities, courts or regulators, when the law requires it.
Every service provider is bound by contract to use your data only for our instructions and to protect it.
5 International transfers
Some providers store or process data outside India, and services for a destination country may require sharing data with parties there. We transfer data only to countries not restricted by the Government of India and with safeguards appropriate to the data.
6 How long we keep it
- Career profile and deliverables: for the length of your service and 24 months after, so you can return to us, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Passport and visa documents: deleted within 90 days of your service ending.
- Payment and invoice records: 8 years, as required by Indian tax and accounting law.
- Technical logs: up to 12 months.
7 Security
We use reasonable security practices, including encryption in transit, access controls and limited staff access. No system is fully secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
8 Your rights
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
- Correct, complete or update inaccurate data.
- Ask us to erase your data, unless we must keep it by law.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Nominate a person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated.
- Raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India.
Email vinay@overseasconnextions.com to exercise any right. We may need to verify your identity first.
9 Children
Our services are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10 Cookies
We use essential cookies needed for the website to work and to keep it secure. If we add analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
